Our Story
Shani & Duran Alicea
Mr. & Mrs. Duran Alicea are a married couple that came together for the love of music! They are a dynamic duo that is professional, enjoyable, and they simply want THE BEST for your event. Shani and Duran brought together their skill sets to provide an extraordinary experience for many audiences to enjoy and remember. They truly love what they do! They are the Ying and Yang of entertainment and simply the best of the best!
DJ Ran
When it comes to the hottest DJs from New Jersey, DJ Ran is at the top of the list. With over 30 years of hard work, consistency, and dedication, DJ Ran is one of the most requested and respected DJs in his area. His diversity allows him to DJ a large variety of events and functions of all kinds! He’s a perfectionist at his craft and he strives to make every event to be a memorable experience for his clients which vary in all ages and ethnicities.
His biggest accomplishments include being the 107.5 WBLS Mastermix DJ, the innovator of DJing in Against All Odds clothing stores around the country, and working with celebrities such as Queen Latifah, Mike Epps, Jadakiss, Hillary Clinton, Karl Towns, Joe Budden, and the list goes on! Shani "Virgo"Alicea
Shani “Virgo” Alicea is a native of New Jersey and has traveled to teach and choreograph Hip-Hop between Los Angeles and Bermuda! She graduated as Valedictorian from Arts High School of Newark, NJ and received her BFA in Jazz Performance from the University of the Arts where she received Choreography and Outstanding Jazz Performance Awards.
With over 30+ years of dance experience, Shani has made appearances in dance magazines, on networks CBS & BET, Feature Films, Commercials, and Music Videos. Shani owns Grooves Unlimited Dance Studio of Livingston, NJ which specializes in Hip-Hop, Tap, and Street Dance Culture. She loves producing events and is working with multiple production and dance companies throughout the country and continues to choreograph in the tri-state area!
